Specific Learning Disorders

Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or learning disabilities, affect how individuals process and acquire information, despite having average or above-average intelligence. 

The most common types of SLD include:

• Dyslexia: A reading disorder characterised by difficulties in accurate and fluent word recognition, spelling, and decoding abilities. Individuals with dyslexia may have trouble reading and comprehending written text.
• Dysgraphia: A writing disorder that affects a person's ability to produce written language. It may involve issues with handwriting and organising thoughts on paper.
• Dyscalculia: A math disorder that makes it challenging for individuals to understand and work with numbers and mathematical concepts.
